About
The emergency department is often times the department of “what it is not”. When an undifferentiated patient walks through our doors, walks in the best scenario or is being rolled in through the doors in the most critical scenario, we are always to think of the diagnosis that will kill the patient immediately. We always think of the condition that is immediately life-threatening. When those conditions are considered and appropriately worked up, other less emergent conditions are given appropriate thought. Obviously this thinking occurs in tandem as an emergency physician evaluates a patient.
This website and resource is meant to help myself and others review for the intraining exam (ITE) and the EM boards.
